These are some of the historic aircraft that will be honored
at this year's Geneseo Air Show . . . The Greatest Show on Turf.

The following aircraft represent some of the existing P-40s in North America still flying. In the last few months all their owners have been contacted and invited to the Geneseo Airshow for our Flying Tigers Reunion. These pages show some of the aircraft that have been invited to attend, which is not the same as scheduled to attend. We will post background information on the invited P-40s as it becomes available. We will make note of the Warhawks that are definitely coming as contracts are signed. It's important to note that many invited aircraft are located on the West Coast. Given the logistical problems of distance, time and fuel, airframe hours, and expenses, it's possible even a contracted airplane from the other side of the country may not make it. It is not the practice of the 1941 Historical Aircraft Group to present misleading information. Please realize these aircraft have only been invited; there should not be any misunderstanding or disappointment if they cannot appear. Please do not call the TP-40 (2-seat) owners trying to schedule rides at Geneseo. The American Airpower Museum's P-40N, The Jackie C was originally built at the Curtiss factory in Buffalo, New York in 1943 and designated the Curtiss P40N-10-CU with serial number 43-5795. It operated with number 133 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force . . . (more)	This P-40N-S, serial number 42-105861, left the Curtiss factory in August, 1943 and was sent to the 5th Air Force in the South West Pacific area. (more)	P-40N (N1195N) was built for the United States Army Air Force in 1942 by the Curtiss factory in Buffalo, New York as serial number 42-106396. It was transferred to the Royal Canadian Air Force on 11 September 1944 and operated until 23 August 1946. . . . (more)
This two-seat training version of the P-40 was built by Curtiss in the later part of World War II. Its serial number 44-47923 indicates it was one of 26 built for that purpose in 1944. The first modification of the earlier P-40E's included the removal of the fuel tank and armor . . . This P-40E is another of the former RCAF Kittyhawks (number 1051) salvaged on October 23, 1947 by Fred Dyson and brought to Boeing Field. It was later purchased by Tony Dire of Everett, Washington who mounted it on top of his gas station in a red and white paint scheme. . . .
